Her passion for health, wellness, and fitness drew her towards the profession and she has loved every minute of her practice since starting. She likes witnessing the strong impact regular massage can have on a person’s life and has experienced it firsthand as well.
During treatment, Jessica employs treatment techniques such as Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point release, passive and patient-assisted stretching, and neuromuscular techniques to help decrease pain, increase range of motion and improve overall relaxation. Her treatments aim to decrease the effects of both the physical and emotional stressors placed on the body in day-to-day life. Jessica’s philosophy is that patient involvement is key in decreasing chronic pain as well as treating acute injuries. Creating tailored homecare plans for each of her patients using active rehabilitation and strengthening exercises, stretches, mindfulness techniques and deep breathing is equally as important as hands-on time. Jessica believes that pain is a complex, multifaceted issue, and should be approached from all angles.
